The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in differernt age groups who did regular phsycial activity in 2010.

 

 

The bar chart given describes data regarding the proposition of males and females who have a daily workout in 2010 from Australia in six different age categories. Overall, except men in the youngest group, a majority of females' group have a exercise more than males even though a gap between male and female had narrowed at the end of group.

 

One particularly interesting fact highlighted by the figure is that Men in 15 to 24 had over 50 percent which was the highest among men group although female group in the same range of section reached approximately 48 percent. However, women overtook men from the following categories, peaking at just under 49 while men decreased to about 42. In the next section, men decreased to less than 40 in 35 to 44, peaking the lowest among all the groups and traced women by marginally climbing by around 6 passing 45 to 54 and 55 to 65, and finally reached the similar figure at 46.7 although it still had a minimal difference by close 0.3 in the end of group. In contrast, women had increased to just above 53  from the begin of group to the age group 45 to 54 which is the highest in the whole group even though it descend slightly by 0.3 in the following group and reached the lowest figure at around 47 in 65 and over
